The Adams-Friendship Wrestling team took to the mats in their first tournament of the year on Saturday in Richland Center. With Regional Championships on the line, there was little time for each athlete to work out any flaws they might have had in order to make adjustments throughout the day.

For the first time this season, the Adams-Friendship Green Devils wrestled two teams in one day. Adams-Friendship came up on the short end of a dual with Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, but were able to gain a lot of valuable experience by wrestling one of the most storied programs in the State. 

The 57th Annual World Championship Snowmobile Derby Week was celebrated with the Vintage World Championship Derby January 8th-10th in Eagle River, Wisconsin. Held at the World Championship Complex, this event was home to the vintage racing machines from the sixties, seventies, and eighties.

With another three game week, Adams-Friendship had an opportunity to get back over the .500 mark on the season. With a visit to Tomah on Monday, those hopes were quickly dashed. A very good, tall, and talented Timberwolves team jumped out to a 14-0 lead to start the night.

Last Thursday’s 58-12 dual victory over Wautoma/Wild Rose sealed a share of the conference crown for the Adams-Friendship Green Devil Wrestlers. It has been ten years since Wrestling has brought home a conference Championship.

On Tuesday night, the Adams-Friendship Boys Basketball team got off to a great start against the 5th ranked Wisconsin Dells Chiefs. Playing a crippling 1-3-1 defense the Green Devils immediately imposed their will by forcing several turnovers.

The Green Devils Wrestling Program continues to mow through the South Central Conference in the 2020-21 Season. Last week Thursday the team traveled to Nekoosa and continued their dominance.

On January 9th, A-F Powerlifting was invited to Mauston for a dual powerlifting meet.

In four tries this season, the Adams-Friendship Girls Basketball team had lost to every opponent they had played this season with a winning record. That all changed with a late flurry in the second half against a very good Amherst team last Tuesday.
