By grabbing a big win over defending Conference Champion Wisconsin Dells last week, the Adams-Friendship Green Devils have found themselves on top of the South Central Conference for the time being. 

While once again missing two starters from the lineup, Adams-Friendship’s Boys Basketball team took the court Tuesday with something to prove. The Green Devils were hosting a determined Portage (1-6) team that has been struggling to get on track while playing some stiff competition. 

Playing in what was probably the smallest venue they have seen since middle school, the Girls Basketball team travelled to Green Lake High School last Tuesday night. The host school Princeton/Green Lake co-op team came into the evening with a strong 5-1 record out of the Trailways-West Conference.

The Adams-Friendship Football Team landed several athletes on the All-South Central Conference list. With the pandemic season, the South Central Conference was limited to five active teams this fall.  Nekoosa was moved out of the league and into the Central Wisconsin Conference for Football only.

After dropping the initial game of the week, the Adams-Friendship Girls Basketball Team was able to bounce back with two wins. In a very important early season South Central Conference matchup, the team was worn down late at Wisconsin Dells. 

After suffering an early defeat in the season opener at Mauston, the Adams-Friendship Boys Basketball team came away with two wins last week. On Tuesday, at home, against Nekoosa, the first half was a mixed bag of both good and bad. The team got out and had a ten point lead early on.

After outsourcing their first two opponeents 113-17 during the first week of the season. The Girls JV basketball team took two straight very close losses but closed out the second week with a win at Portage.  Adams-Friendship girls JV played at Wisconsin Rapids last Tuesday night.
