The Adams-Friendship Football Team fought valiantly for nearly three quarters before succumbing to the Mauston ground game on Friday night. The team played against Onalaska the week before without their head coach and had to practice all week with assistant coaches running the show.

Running on the toughest course of the season, the AF Cross Country team had an excellent race to finish out the season. Both Green Devil squads were unable to qualify as a team due to runners being out from injury and quarantine. 

The Adams-Friendship Boys Soccer Team was looking for their first postseason win in school history when they traveled to Black River Falls last Tuesday. The team felt confident after losing two very close matches against the Tigers early in the season by scores of 3-4 and 4-3.

Did you know that Adams Friendship High School students have the opportunity to participate in a shooting sport?  The Central Wisconsin High School Trap Team is composed of high school trap shooters from Adams-Friendship, Nekoosa, Port Edwards, and Wisconsin Rapids.  They recently began the fall shooting sports season.

As of Oct. 15, students of all ages can earn their Wisconsin hunter education safety certification through a single, online-only hunter education course under a temporary change approved by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

On a cold and rainy afternoon at Mound View Golf Course, the Adams-Friendship Cross Country Team had several great individual efforts in the Conference Meet last Friday. Jonas Hicks led the boys, placing fourth and earning 1st team All-Conference honors. Nathaniel Flemming placed 13th, earning 2nd team honors.

The Adams-Friendship Cross Country team had multiple place winners in last week’s meet held at Mound View Golf Course. On the Boys end, Jonas Hicks and Nathaniel Flemming took home 3rd and 4th place finishes. Unfortunately, due to injuries, the Green Devils did not have enough runners for a team score. 

The Adams-Friendship Green Devils received an unexpected week off last Friday night. The team’s  home opener against Westfield was postponed due to the Pioneers having too many players on quarantine during the pandemic.

The Adams-Friendship  Volleyball Team went up against two of the better teams in the conference last week and came out on the losing end of things.
