CO-OP Trap Team Looks to Build on 2019 Success

In a Central Wisconsin CO-OP effort, the Adams-Friendship High School has collaborated with Wisconsin Rapids, Nekoosa, and Port Edwards to form a trap team. The team captured a conference championship in 2019 before the Coronavirus Pandemic eliminated the 2020 spring season.

Green Devil sports teams are looking forward to the spring season starting up. With the 2020 season being wiped out, several athletes are really looking forward to having a season in 2021. Adams-Friendship’s Track and Field Team is led by Head Coach Lori Hodkiewicz who has had to wait over a year to enter her third season at the helm.

Something fishy going on in Southern Adams County

Over 100,000 common carp were removed recently from Lake Mason, recently according to the Portage Daily Register. Over the past five years the Lake Mason Management District has removed over 60,000 pounds of carp.

Renner wins National Championship

Delilah Renner, age 11, Adams, is the 2021 NFAA Indoor National Champion in the Bowhunter Freestyle Cub Female Division.  The National Field Archery Association (NFAA) Indoor Championships were held on March 19 in Yankton, South Dakota.
