The Adams-Friendship Girls basketball team wrapped up their season after a second round regional loss at West Salem. The team finished 10-14 overall and placed fourth in the South Central Conference with a 5-5 record. The team had two big wins late in the season at home vs.
History was made last Saturday because it was the last high school meet to be held at Mitchell Hall. In 2023 the indoor meet will be held at the new field house on the UW-LaCrosse campus.

Adams-Friendship’s Cinderella postseason came to an end in Wisconsin Dells last Thursday at the hands of the #1 ranked team in the state from West Salem. “The score really wasn’t indicative of how the game went, they had some of their top players in at the end to push the margin out some.
Track and Field does not keep track of conference records like other sports. At the end of the season there is a conference meet to determine the standings. To gain points for your team, athletes need to compete and place in each event in order to climb the ladder of the standings.
Heading into Sectional play, there are only 16 teams left in the WIAA Boys Basketball Division 3 playoffs. As the 4th place team from the South Central Conference and being seeded #11 out of 12 teams in their half sectional, few people would have predicted the Adams-Friendship Green Devils to be the last team remaining from the conference.
The Green Demon Wrestling Club has been operating in Adams County since 1977. It provides opportunity for both boys and girls from kindergarten age through 8th grade. It holds open wrestling sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
