Schools may be struggling with ways to get students engaged due to the many challenges of COVID-19. Jay Porter, General Manager from Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative (ACEC), reached out to Nekoosa High School’s art class with a special socially-distanced project.

President Rick Pease called a Special Meeting of the Adams-Friendship Area School’s Board of Education to order at 5:00 p.m. on October 26, 2020. The purpose of the meeting was to set the Tax Levy and Mill Rate for 2020.  
After the Pledge of Allegiance, the Board voted to adopt the Agenda. 

Adams County Health & Human Services Department- Division of Public Health (ACPH) along with the Wisconsin National Guard (WING) and the Town of Rome Fire Department are hosting weekly drive-through community testing sites for COVID-19 in Adams County.

At the Oct 13 Adams County Board of Supervisors meeting, the County Board tabled a proposed ordinance that would have opened six county road segments in the Town of Jackson to ATV/UTV ridership.  Prior to the consideration of proposed Ordinance 31, 17 county road segments had been approved by the County Board.
