Ripon College has announced its Dean’s List for the fall 2020 semester, recognizing academic excellence. To qualify for the Dean’s List at Ripon College, students must achieve a 3.40 grade point average or higher ona 4.00 scale and complete at least 12 credits of regular letter-graded work.

Amber and Mark Rawson of Wisconsin Dells are the parents of a baby girl, Cynthia Louise Rawson, born December 18 at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston.  She weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounce and measured 19 ¾ inches.  Maternal grandparents are LeeAnn and Affie Brooks of Wisconsin Dells.  Paternal grandparents are Julia Link-Wayerski of Wisconsin Dell

The Adams County Humane Society is beginning to implement an open adoption policy for animals at the shelter.  What does this mean for a person who wishes to adopt a pet?

Jacqueline and Kenneth Hamm of Mauston are the parents of a baby girl, Evelyn Naomi Hamm, born December 3 at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston.  She weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounce and measured 21 inches.  Maternal grandparents are Celia and Steve Peters of Necedah.  Paternal grandparents are Diane and John Hamm of Mauston.

Calling all clubs, groups or individuals to spread some holiday cheer!  “The residents at Villa Pines really enjoy getting cards with pictures on them or window clings,” said executive director Sara Henne.

Decorations went up last week at Villa Pines for Christmas. There are several beautiful Christmas trees full of lights!  Each Lounge area features Christmas decorations covering the walls.

Bryanna and Brett Cook of Friendship are parents of a baby girl, Bryelle Rose Cook, born November 12 at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston.  She weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 20 ½ inches.  Maternal grandmother is Erica Dixon of Friendship. Paternal grandparents are Diane Cook of Madison, and Kevin Cook of Linden, Wisconsin.
