The Adams-Friendship High School will present “Excerpts from: The Sound of Music” on Thursday March 17 at 7:00pm and Friday March 18 at 7:00pm at the A-F Fine Arts Center. An afternoon performance was also held on Wednesday March 16. Tickets are $5.00.
Jenny Henson is an Adams County volunteer. She started the A-F Snack Pack program and currently packs and distributes, with the help of family and friends, bags of snacks for Adams-Friendship students every week. She also helps fundraise for youth basketball and softball. Recently, she was one of the organizers of Sportsman’s Night Out which
Organizers are excited to announce Adams County Kids Day will be held Saturday May, 14, 2022, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. This event will be located at the Adams County Fairgrounds to allow for more spacing, ventilation, and outdoor activities.
Judy LeRoy, Adams, has fundraising down to an art form! She has lived in Adams County her entire life, and she enjoys giving back to the community that she grew up in and where she raised her children.
Morgan and Danny Preuss of Wonewoc are the parents of a baby boy, Levi Daniel Preuss, born February 8 at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston. He weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounce and measured 20 1/4 inches. Maternal grandparents are Vicki and Irish Miller of Union Center. Paternal grandfather is Mark Preuss of Wonewoc.

205 graduates received an associate’s degree or technical diploma in the 2021 Fall Term at Western Technical College from the Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement 720 Academy program.

Selena Albiter and Wesley Magin of Friendship are the parents of a baby boy, Weston Michael Magin, born February 3 at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston. He weighed 10 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 21 ¾ inches. Maternal grandparents are Carol and Cesar Albiter of Adams.
One of the important events held for Adams Friendship High School Seniors is Senior Scholarship Night. Last year, the scholarship committee was able give the class of 2021 over $80,000 in scholarships. Over thirty students were awarded scholarships that helped to lower the cost of their post-secondary education.
Clarissa and Nic Ross of Arkdale are the parents of a baby girl, Harlyn Ruth Ross, born January 28 at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston. She weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 20 ½ inches. Maternal grandparents are Michelle Mahlum of Wisconsin Rapids, and Lisa and Chuck Mahlum of Holmen.
